Adolfo Vivas an asylum seeking immigrant from Nicaragua came to the United States with nothing but the clothes on his back but a desire to grow and build something in the land of opportunity. His extreme gratitude for the United States and what it has given him is reflected in the quality of ammunition that he creates for his customers. His story is the American Dream.
He has always had an intense interest in ammunition and guns. Since 1998, he was loading his own ammunition to shoot the 30/30 and .22 caliber bullets and also loaded for the M1 Garand.
In 2006, a good friend of his and Colonel in the Airforce told him that he was impressed by the quality of bullets that he could make for his private collection. He pushed Adolfo to sell his ammo so he Bought his first Dillon machine and began loading out of his home, making Ammo for a Colonel in the Airforce. He believed in the product and started selling ammo out of the back of his car. His first customer was National Gun in Miami, Florida.
More orders than he could produce with one machine started flowing in so he bought another 2 machines and still grew the business himself. He eventually bought another Dillon 650 and started loading rifle calibers such as .223.
In 2008 he moved to a 900 Sq foot warehouse storefront to sell firearms and ammunitions after just 2 years. His first company was named after two of the signers of the declaration of independence: Stone Hart Manufacturing. He ended up selling over 1.7 million in product in just a couple of years. At this time, he came up with the concept to build a the best gun ranges in Miami.
From 2008 to 2012 and after clearing out all of his savings and his wives 401k and his sons education fund to create Stone Harts Gun GLub and Indoor Range which is now in business and has over over 5,000,000, in sales.
In 2016, recognizing that he needed to open a much larger factory to meet the demand, so he partnered with other investors to launch new concept ammunition as well as continuing to offer the same high quality ammunition he has built by hand since the 90’s.
